It's me Marina! Proud Blondita girl and avid blogger here. Nothing makes me happier than running around with my giant polka dot bag – I wear it embroidery side out, so everyone knows who made it.
This summer me and my Blondita bag traveled from LA to Hawaii to Amsterdam, and finally landed for good in New York City. In a nutshell...
In April I took a leap of faith - a fairly big one, though I'm only 23 so I'm sure there are bigger leaps where that came from. In short, I quit my corporate design job in Los Angeles with no backup.
I went to Europe. I racked up a good amount of credit card debt. I went vintage shopping and I stuffed jeans and baguettes and cheese into my Blondita bag and took it all to the park (then ate the bread and cheese) and then packed my bag into the back of my cousin's boyfriend's car and we went camping in a summer thunderstorm in North Holland – see below. This bag has seen rain and shine like none of my other items.

This bag has been my work bag, airport bag, sneaky link bag, wholesome Thanksgiving weekender bag, and I think even groceries once or twice. Anyways, my bag and I are now safely nestled in Brooklyn, New York. It all worked out – the job, the apartment, the whole thing. And summer isn't even over yet!
